Beşiktaş Look to Cash In on Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi Amid Squad Overhaul Under Vincenzo Italiano
Beşiktaş has designated Nigerian defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi for transfer during the summer window, placing a valuation in excess of €10 million on the player. The 29-year-old Super Eagles captain joined the Istanbul-based club from Leicester City for €8 million last summer on a contract that runs until 2028.
The decision to sell Ndidi comes amid a comprehensive squad restructuring initiated by newly appointed manager Vincenzo Italiano, who succeeded Sergen Yalçın. Italiano has reportedly excluded the midfielder from his tactical blueprints for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign. Interest has emerged from various regions, including clubs within the Saudi Pro League, English Premier League, and Dutch Eredivisie.
