Beşiktaş Transfer Updates: Loan Bid for Marc Casadó, Richard Ríos Interest, and Al-Musrati's Departure

As the summer transfer window draws to a close, Beşiktaş is actively restructuring its midfield for the 2026-2027 campaign. The Turkish club has formally approached FC Barcelona regarding a loan move for youth prospect Marc Casadó, looking to secure a temporary deal while competing with Benfica for his signature.

Simultaneously, Beşiktaş is closely monitoring the situation of Richard Ríos, who is reportedly nearing an exit from Benfica, assessing whether the player's profile aligns with the club's ongoing project. On the outgoing front, Beşiktaş has officially parted ways with Libyan defensive midfielder Moatasem Al-Musrati. The two parties agreed to a contract termination, leaving Al-Musrati available in the market as a free agent.

Beşiktaş Target La Masia Midfielder Marc Casadó and Initiate Contact via Jorge Mendes

Beşiktaş has contacted football agent Jorge Mendes to explore the potential acquisition of 22-year-old FC Barcelona midfielder Marc Casadó. The La Masia graduate has experienced a decline in playing time under manager Hansi Flick and is reportedly seeking a move to secure regular first-team football within Europe.

Barcelona is prioritizing a permanent sale rather than a loan agreement and has established a minimum asking price of €20 million for the midfielder. Beşiktaş's sporting director, Eduard Graf—who has tracked academy talents since his tenure as chief scout for Borussia Dortmund—is a primary proponent of the transfer. Concurrently, Beşiktaş's pursuit of alternative options, such as Bayern Munich's Alexander Nübel, has encountered financial hurdles, with reports狂 indicating that the Turkish club's valuation falls approximately €7 million short of Bayern's requirements.
