Beşiktaş Basketball Reinforces EuroLeague Roster with NBA Guard Jaylen Nowell and Alimpijević Extension
Post Content: Beşiktaş has officially announced major roster and coaching updates ahead of their anticipated return to the EuroLeague for the 2026–27 season. The club secured the signing of 27-year-old American guard Jaylen Nowell, who brings extensive top-tier experience after featuring in over 200 NBA games. Selected 43rd overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, Nowell has previously represented the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, and New Orleans Pelicans.
Simultaneously, Beşiktaş reached a comprehensive agreement with head coach Dušan Alimpijević to extend his contract until the conclusion of the 2027–28 season. The Serbian tactician, who has overseen a consistent upward trajectory for the team over the past three years, will remain at the helm to guide the club's domestic and European championship aspirations.
