Beşiktaş GAIN Makes History: Brushes Aside Bahçeşehir to Reach First-Ever EuroCup Finals

Beşiktaş GAIN Istanbul has secured a spot in the EuroCup Finals for the first time in club history. In the semifinal series against city rival Bahçeşehir College Istanbul, Beşiktaş completed a comprehensive 2-0 sweep. Game 2 ended with an 82-72 road victory for the Black Eagles, following a resounding 91-72 win in Game 1. Key contributors to the historic victory included Brynton Lemar with 18 points, Devon Dotson with 16 points, and Jonah Mathews and Ante Zizic, who each added 12 points.

The historic night, however, ended with late-game tension. In the final moments of the game, Bahçeşehir's Malachi Flynn sparked a near-brawl by shoving Devon Dotson from behind out of frustration, leading to Flynn's ejection. Beşiktaş later responded playfully on social media regarding the incident, and Flynn issued a public apology the following day. Beşiktaş will now advance to face either Turk Telekom Ankara or Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse in the championship series.
