Sissoko Cleared for Individual Training as Jeffries Continues Recovery
Beşiktaş have issued a medical update on basketball players Mady Sissoko and DaQuan Jeffries, outlining different stages in their recovery.
According to the club statement reproduced by Eurohoops, Sissoko has overcome the health problem that led to his contract being frozen on September 11. His medical results have returned to normal, allowing him to begin individual strength training. The update does not specify a date for his return to competitive action.
Jeffries continues individual conditioning following surgery for a left-wrist injury sustained against Valencia on September 25. The club expects him to join team training within 15–20 days of its October 20 announcement.
Beşiktaş hold a 3–3 EuroLeague record after six rounds.
