Transfer Round-Up: Wilfred Ndidi Set to Remain at Beşiktaş as Flamengo Rejects Léo Pereira Bid
Midfield anchor Wilfred Ndidi is set to continue his career at Beşiktaş for the 2026/27 campaign despite persistent interest from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad and inquiries from Manchester United. The Nigeria international, who joined the Istanbul side last season, has established himself as a central figure in the squad's tactical setup.
In defensive recruitment developments, Brazilian side CR Flamengo has turned down a formal €10 million bid from Beşiktaş for central defender Léo Pereira. The Rio de Janeiro-based club rejected the proposal for 100% of the player's economic rights, compelling the Beşiktaş management to evaluate alternative defensive targets before the close of the summer transfer window.
