Lorenzo Pellegrini and Dusan Vlahovic Reject Terms to Pause Beşiktaş Contract Negotiations

Beşiktaş’s recent recruitment initiatives targeting high-profile European league talent have encountered resistance. Italian midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini has twice declined formal contract proposals from the Istanbul club. Beşiktaş had tabled a multi-year package worth over €3.5 million net per season. However, the former Roma captain has chosen to prioritize contract renewal negotiations with AS Roma to remain within Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.

Simultaneously, Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic has paused ongoing discussions regarding a prospective three-year contract offer from Beşiktaş. Reports indicate the striker has chosen to delay any definitive decision regarding a move to the Süper Lig while monitoring potential interest from FC Barcelona.
