Transfer Market Dynamics: Raskin Deal Stalls as New Midfield and Forward Rumors Emerge
Beşiktaş faced late complications in the transfer market as a finalized deal for midfielder Nicolas Raskin collapsed following his sudden matchday squad inclusion by Rangers. This last-minute adjustment left Beşiktaş officials stranded at the airport while Raskin reconsidered his future. Concurrently, the club is reportedly engaged in negotiations for West Ham's 30-year-old Czech midfielder Tomáš Souček, though they face competition from Galatasaray and Everton. Additional rumors indicate interest in winger Vaclav Cerny and veteran goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański. In the forward positions, Gabriel Barbosa has expressed openness to joining a Turkish club, including Beşiktaş, following his loan spell at Santos. Furthermore, club president Serdal Adalı reportedly sent a message to Trabzonspor's Mohamed Salah following a collapsed deal.
