Vincenzo Italiano Appointed as Beşiktaş Head Coach Until 2028
The Beşiktaş management has officially appointed Vincenzo Italiano as the new head coach. The 48-year-old Italian manager, previously with Serie A clubs Fiorentina and Bologna, signed a two-year contract extending until the end of the 2027–2028 season. Italiano becomes the 11th manager to lead the Istanbul-based club over the past five years. Following his arrival in Istanbul, he has already begun preparations for the upcoming season. Nicknamed the "Italian Klopp" by enthusiastic fans, Italiano is expected to implement significant tactical changes, which has already sparked speculation regarding the future of current squad members, including midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
