Court Revolution: Beşiktaş Extends Big Man Zizic Amid Three Major Departures
Beşiktaş GAIN Istanbul has initiated a significant roster realignment within its men's basketball division ahead of the upcoming European and domestic campaigns.
The club officially confirmed a contract extension for Croatian center Ante Zizic. The 29-year-old, 2.10-meter veteran enjoyed a highly successful 2025–26 debut season with Beşiktaş, averaging 12.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while earning All-EuroCup First Team honors and leading the team to the EuroCup Finals.
In tandem with the extension, Beşiktaş announced a comprehensive clear-out of its foreign rotation. The club has parted ways with American guard Brynton Lemar, French big man Ismaël Kamagate, and long-time guard Jonah Mathews, the latter exiting after serving as an integral piece of the squad's backcourt over the past three seasons.
