The Turkish club issued an official statement dismissing the reports, classifying them as "entirely fictional" and specifically discrediting assertions made by digital sports journalists. Furthermore, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that while Beşiktaş had submitted an official opening offer to the Egyptian international, no agreement had been finalized. Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, publicly rebuked the rumors on social media, stating on X that he has no definitive knowledge of where the player will sign next and noting that they do not negotiate simply to create media noise.
