Salah’s Trabzon Impact Revives Attention on Beşiktaş Talks
An Associated Press feature examines Mohamed Salah’s impact in Trabzon following his arrival at Trabzonspor, documenting supporter enthusiasm, murals, merchandise and visits to a highland location where he posed for a photograph.
The report also revisits Beşiktaş’s unsuccessful negotiations with the forward. It attributes the breakdown to a disagreement over his agent’s commission, citing the Beşiktaş president. Salah subsequently scored against Beşiktaş in Trabzonspor’s October 19 league victory.
