Beşiktaş Prepares €70 Million Budget for Extensive Summer Transfer Campaign
Beşiktaş J.K. is reportedly planning a significant squad overhaul for the upcoming season, allocating a transfer budget of approximately €70 million. The black-and-white club is actively pursuing several domestic and international targets to strengthen the team.
Key names on the shortlist include Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, whom the club attempted to sign in January from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and winger Zuriko Davitashvili. Furthermore, Beşiktaş is engaged in a transfer battle with Villarreal and Bundesliga clubs (including Mainz and Eintracht Frankfurt) for Göztepe's Nigerian defensive midfielder Anthony Dennis. The club has also taken official steps to acquire the winger Ferrerinha.
In a high-profile move, Beşiktaş management is reportedly seeking to sign Senegalese forward Sadio Mane, having initiated serious actions and received initial managerial approval. The club's transfer budget will also be bolstered by previous deals, such as the expected €5 million installment from the Junior Olaytan transfer.
