Beşiktaş GAİN Falls to JL Bourg in Dramatic BKT EuroCup Final
In the 2025-26 BKT EuroCup Finals, Beşiktaş GAİN's hopes for a European title were dashed following a tense 73-71 defeat to French side Cosea JL Bourg in Game 2. Despite trailing during the matchup, Beşiktaş managed to level the score in the final moments with crucial points from Lemar. However, a last-second layup by Mokoka secured the victory and the EuroCup trophy for Bourg-en-Bresse, simultaneously granting them a spot in the upcoming EuroLeague season. Prior to the match, Beşiktaş head coach Dusan Alimpijevic and forward Anthony Brown had expressed confidence in their ability to reclaim the series, but the French hosts ultimately proved too resilient.
