Beşiktaş Fall Short at Bahçeşehir as Walker Injury Raises Concern

Beşiktaş lost 100–96 away to Bahçeşehir Koleji on October 24, dropping to a 2–3 record in the Basketball Super League. Bahçeşehir remained unbeaten through five games.

Malachi Flynn’s late three-pointers helped the hosts establish a decisive advantage. Jaylen Nowell led Beşiktaş with 21 points and four assists, while Eugene Omoruyi and Lonnie Walker IV each contributed 15 points.

Walker’s condition became a concern in the fourth quarter following a heavy fall. He briefly attempted to return but left the court again after one possession. Eurohoops reported the incident as an injury concern without providing a confirmed diagnosis or recovery timetable.

Elsewhere in the squad, Beşiktaş’s October 20 medical update stated that Mady Sissoko had recovered sufficiently from his health problems to begin individual strength training. DaQuan Jeffries continued rehabilitation following wrist surgery, with the club anticipating his return to team training within 15–20 days of that announcement.
