Beşiktaş Advances Negotiations to Acquire Al-Hilal Striker Darwin Núñez on Loan
Beşiktaş is nearing a framework agreement to sign Uruguayan forward Darwin Núñez on a season-long loan from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. Núñez joined Al-Hilal from Liverpool eleven months ago but was unregistered for domestic league play in the second half of the season due to squad foreign player limits.
Negotiations between Beşiktaş and Al-Hilal have progressed, placing the Turkish club ahead of competing suitors such as MLS side Atlanta United. If finalized, the deal would reunite Núñez with former Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah in Istanbul.
