Beşiktaş Pauses Mohamed Salah Negotiations Over Financial Demands, Turns Attention to Rafael Leão
Beşiktaş Football Director Önder Özen has officially confirmed that negotiations to sign Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah have been paused and shelved for the time being. Talks broke down primarily over agent commission demands and overall contract terms that exceeded the club's financial boundaries. Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı presented a final offer but declined to make additional concessions that would compromise the institutional principles of the club.
While the club noted that their final offer remains open should Salah accept without revised conditions, Beşiktaş has begun exploring alternative attacking targets. The club has opened preliminary talks regarding AC Milan winger Rafael Leão and is monitoring former Juventus forward Dušan Vlahović.
