Beşiktaş Transfer Watch: Mavropanos Linked, Newcastle Resist Willock Pursuit
Beşiktaş have been linked with West Ham United defender Konstantinos Mavropanos, alongside Olympiacos and clubs in Germany.
Hammers News reports that an unnamed senior West Ham source expects the defender to remain in January unless an exceptional offer arrives. The outlet’s account suggests resistance to a mid-season sale, while leaving his longer-term future uncertain. No agreement with Beşiktaş has been announced in the report.
Meanwhile, Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle has reiterated his support for Joe Willock following Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı’s public interest in a January move. Turkish Football reports that Jaissle praised Willock’s performances and indicated that a contract extension remained possible.
