Vlahović Credits Kökçü After Reaching Beşiktaş Scoring Milestone

Dušan Vlahović praised teammate Orkun Kökçü after scoring in Beşiktaş’s 2–1 victory over Kocaelispor on 11 October.

According to Türkiye Today, the Serbian striker became the first Beşiktaş player since the 2000–01 season to score in each of his first four league starts. Vlahović attributed the achievement to his understanding with Kökçü, highlighting their contribution to each other’s scoring opportunities.

Kökçü opened the scoring against Kocaelispor, while Vlahović converted the penalty that secured the victory. Reflecting on the match, Vlahović praised the visitors’ defensive organisation and emphasised the importance of winning a difficult encounter.
