Former Beşiktaş Coach Sergen Yalçın Takes Türkiye Job
Türkiye appointed former Beşiktaş coach Sergen Yalçın as national-team manager on October 20, replacing Vincenzo Montella.
The Associated Press reports that Yalçın received a four-year contract following Türkiye’s four consecutive Nations League defeats. He previously guided Beşiktaş to the Süper Lig and Turkish Cup double in 2021.
His first fixtures in charge are scheduled against Belgium at home on November 12 and France away three days later.
